Our mission
The Tanzania Association in Switzerland (TAS) was founded in 2013 to operate as a non-partisan, voluntary, non-political, non-religious, non-profit making organization.
The mission of TAS is to promote unity, cooperation, solidarity, concord and fraternity amongst the Tanzanian diaspora living in Switzerland in accordance with Tanzanian national values.
Our objective

Provide a forum for social, economic and cultural interactions, as well as professional development that promotes a positive identity for Tanzania and members of the Tanzanian diaspora living in Switzerland.

Organize various cultural and recreational social activities such as entertainment, sports and art events with a view to bringing together members of the Tanzanian diaspora living in Switzerland.

Engage with various stakeholders on areas of mutual interest (e.g. volunteering, investment opportunities, knowledge and cultural exchanges, e.t.c) with the aim of promoting Tanzania and contributing to its development.
