Membership & Leadership

TAS offers six types of memberships to ensure inclusivity and engagement:

• Full Membership: Available to Tanzanian nationals residing or working in Switzerland, including their families. Full members have voting rights.

• Associate Membership: Open to non-Tanzanian individuals who support the values and objectives of TAS. Associate members do not have voting rights or leadership eligibility.

• Junior Membership: Available for Tanzanian minors under 18. No membership fees are required.

• Honorary Membership: Granted to distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to TAS. Honorary members do not have voting rights and are not required to pay fees.

• Temporary Membership: Designed for Tanzanian nationals visiting Switzerland for a short period (up to six months). Temporary membership requires payment of the prescribed fees.

• Corporate Membership: Open to Tanzanian business owners and corporations interested in TAS activities. Corporate members must fulfill the required conditions and pay the necessary fees.
